That’s Me

I am too old to mention, not too old to rock ‘n’ roll though. My main interests are music (indie, alternative, goth, metal), films (anything by the Coen brothers, Terry Gilliam, Tom Tykwer, Guillermo del Toro and similar, good fantasy stuff like Mirror Mask, The Fall and the occasional SciFi and definitely Tim Burton), books (anything modern, like scottish contemporary fiction, love Neil Gaiman and other graphic novel authors), art (anything modern, sculptures, ceramics, DaveMcKean), twitter and gardening. And lots of other stuff.

I make cakes and desserts for a living, have a husband, a grown-up son living in the next village, a cat and three chicken and an enormous garden.

I dress in my favourite colour, black, at all times and love wearing (black) hats. But I am not a Goth, I just empathize with the beauty of their dress code. I don’t like rain, so that opens the question “Why do I live in England?” No idea, it must have been a rare sunny day when I made that decision. Now that I’m here I make the most of it and bought wellies.

I do attend a lot of gigs, go to festivals and on the whole try and enjoy life as much as possible – we only have the one in this incarnation.
